IEA Agreement Review Team Nominations
Our reviewers are a vital part of the quality assurance processes for the IEA Agreements and ensuring our competency standards - the contribution of our volunteers is significant and plays a crucial part in the work of the IEA. Our reviewers gain valuable Continuing Professional Development (CPD) hours, enhancing their professional growth through their engagement with our processes and interactions with reviewers from other authorised members around the world. This role provides a unique opportunity to give back to the profession, contributing to the advancement and integrity of industry agreements. Volunteering as a reviewer is highly valued by the IEA; we recognize and appreciate the expertise, time, and dedication our reviewers bring to the process. By participating, reviewers not only bolster their own professional standing but also help maintain the high standards and continuous improvement within the global engineering profession.
The nomination process for IEA Agreement Reviews involves calling for nominees to create a pool of reviewers available for a two-three year period.
For each agreement, each authorised member is asked to provide:
- two industry nominee's and
- two academic nominee's
These nominees will be added to the reviewer pool and will be called upon to participate in reviews as needed. By gathering nominees from all authorised member jurisdictions, we aim to form robust and diverse review teams that can effectively evaluate agreements.
This approach ensures a balanced representation of expertise and perspectives from both industry and academia, and contributes to the overall quality and credibility of the IEA review process.
