At the core of the International Engineering Alliance is the Governing Group. The Governing Group is the decision-making body of the IEA, consisting of the representing executives from the Accords and Agreements.
The International Engineering Alliance seeks to improve engineering education and competence globally through widening the recognition and uptake of its Accords and Agreements. The Governing Group undertake activities to support this goal and drive the overall IEA strategy.

Secretariat
The International Engineering Alliance Secretariat is the operational hub of the IEA. It drives the day-to-day activities - administration, ensures effective communication and delivers the coordination of meetings and events.
The Secretariat underpins the work of the Governing Group providing support to working groups and strategic initiatives, manages member review processes, and safeguards compliance with IEA policies, enabling the IEA to function smoothly and effectively.
